In accordance with the Law of Georgia "On Protection of Consumer Rights", Meloc provides the following rights to consumers:
1. If the product is found to be defective, the consumer has the right to demand:
Repair of the goods free of charge
Replacement of the goods free of charge
2. The right to repair or replace the product is a fundamental right. The consumer may demand one of the above remedies if such remedy is impossible or disproportionately expensive due to the nature of the product.
3. The product must be repaired or replaced within a reasonable time in order to avoid negative consequences for the consumer, taking into account the nature and purpose of the product.
4. The repair or replacement of the product free of charge includes all associated costs (including postage, labor and materials) necessary to ensure the conformity of the product with the terms of the contract.
5. The consumer may demand a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract if:
the repair or replacement of the goods is impossible
the trader fails to repair or replace the goods within a reasonable period of time and the consumer loses interest in continuing the contract
the consumer is significantly inconvenienced by the repair or replacement.
6. In the event of termination of the contract, the consumer may also claim compensation for damages caused by the non-performance of the contract in accordance with the legislation of Georgia.
7. Replacement is not permitted if the defect is insignificant.
8. When assessing whether the costs are disproportionate, the following shall be considered:
the price of the goods in relation to the conformity
the degree of non-conformity
the availability of alternative solutions with minimal inconvenience.
The legal guarantee is valid for 1 year from the date of delivery.
Burden of proof
If the defect is discovered within 6 months of delivery, it is presumed that the defect existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise. The burden of proof lies with the trader (Meloc).
If the defect is discovered after 6 months, the burden of proof lies with the consumer.
Repair deadlines
If spare parts are available locally: repair/replacement will be completed within 15 working days.
If parts have to be imported: repair/replacement will be completed within 30 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Note: The legal guarantee does not apply to entrepreneurs or legal entities.
Warranty service does not apply or is void if:
The warranty period (1 year) has expired
Proof of purchase (receipt, bill of sale, etc.) is not provided
The serial number or IMEI is illegible or missing
Mechanical damage not related to a factory defect is detected
The device was used for commercial purposes
The seal or seal was removed
The manufacturer"s storage / use instructions were violated
The damage was caused by computer viruses or incompatible files
A defect caused by a malfunction of the electrical network or power supply
The user violated the conditions of proper use or storage
Unqualified repair or installation was carried out by the user
The user used damaged systems or unlicensed programs
Unauthorized repair or warranty work caused further damage
Pixel damage within the manufacturer"s acceptable limits
Commercial warranty
If the manufacturer provides a warranty that exceeds 1 year, then from the second year onwards, the warranty is considered commercial and is valid under the manufacturer"s terms.
Repairs under a commercial warranty are completed within 30 business days of submission to the service center.
If repair is not possible, replacement is offered
Identical product
Different product with the same specifications
Or refund, subject to customer agreement.
Only the defective item will be replaced. Accessories, consumables, packaging and box are excluded.
Note: Commercial warranty is valid only in Georgia.
Warranty service conditions
Repairs must be made at an authorized Meloc service center.
Customers must present
Warranty card
Proof of purchase
Manufacturer"s warranty card (if applicable).
General provisions
In case of a visit to another service center, the customer will be at fault.
Customers are responsible for protecting the goods from mechanical, thermal or hydraulic damage.
If the customer refuses to inspect or open the diagnostic, the warranty service is void.
All warranties are valid only within the territory of Georgia.
Installation Fee
If the installation includes parameters other than standard, it will be considered non-standard by the installer and will be charged.
If the installation service is purchased in-store, the terms can be confirmed at the checkout.
